 Smartphone Mod 1.15.2 is a straightforward, yet interesting and somewhat enticing addition to the game. Through adding a literal smartphone, which comes with four disparate apps, from messaging, mobile game to music, this particular smartphone sparked a heated debate on whether it is necessary for the game,albeit a multitude of its features are considered to be quite useful. Despite the controversy, a quite number of proponents of this Mod still considers it as a prospect for further entertainment, just like in real life, you can mindlessly look at your phone just like how you would in the reality world.

How to install:

  1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
  2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
    • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
    • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
  3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
  4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
